Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Privacy Statement

The International Journal of Contemporary Legal Research (IJCLR) collects and processes personal data, including names and email addresses, solely for legitimate, explicit, and essential purposes related to the scholarly publishing process. These purposes include manuscript submission, peer review, editorial correspondence, publication activities, author notifications, and other necessary administrative and academic communications.

Personal data shall be processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently, and will be limited to what is strictly necessary for the functioning of the journal. Such data will not be used for marketing or commercial purposes, nor will it be shared with third parties, except where required by law or essential to journal operations.

The journal takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard personal data and respects the rights of data subjects, including the right to access, rectification, restriction, and deletion of personal information, in accordance with applicable data protection principles.
